do you want an apple?

with hope that the spring is coming... soon

I made this apples as puppets... yes, you hear well... they are puppets... to play the song: "Farmer Brown has five green apples hanging on a tree,
Farmer Brown has five green apples hanging on a tree,
He picked one apple and ate it hungrily,
Leaving four green apples haning on the tree.
Farmer Brown has four green apples...
Farmer Brown has three green apples...
Farmer Brown has two green apples...
Farmer Brown has one green apple hanging on a tree,
Farmer Brown has one green apple hanging on a tree,
He picked that apple and it hungrily,
Leaving no green apples hanging on the tree"

it was a really provocation... What do you say?

kiss the frog

"Once upon a time, there lived a beautiful princess who had a golden ball. One day, while playing in the garden, the ball fell into a pond. She was very upset and did not know what to do. While she sat there crying helplessly, a frog hopped out of the pond and asked, “Why are you crying, little princess?” She told him about her golden ball. The ugly frog said, “I can help you get your ball but what will you give me in return?” “I will give you anything you want!” promised the princess. The frog immediately dived into the water and fetched the ball for her. The princess was very happy. The frog reminded her, “Remember that you promised me anything. Well, I want to be your friend, eat from your plate, and sleep in your palace!” The princess hated the idea but she agreed and ran back to the palace.

The next morning, the princess found the frog waiting for her. He said, “I have come to live in your palace.” Hearing this, the princess ran to her father, crying. When the kind king heard about the promise, he told her, “A promise is a promise and you must keep your word. You must let the frog stay here.” The princess was very angry but she had no choice and let the frog stay. He ate from her plate during dinner and asked the princess to take him to her bed at night. The princess picked him up angrily and threw him to the floor.

In a flash, the frog turned into a handsome prince! He told the princess that he had actually been under the spell of a wicked witch. The princess fell in love with the prince. They were married and lived happily ever after."

my puppets' after-life

Who does not want to know how her/him creations live after we let go them away? I am very happy when I get some information about my crafts after-life. But what Alicia made is truly very special...

She made a puppet theatre for her niece and nephew... using a cardboard box... It's amazing, isn't it?

you can find her here: and take a look about her creative world of recycled cardboard... It's worthy!

three little monkeys swinging in the tree

let's sing together:

Three little monkeys swinging from a tree.
Along came a crocodile quiet as can be.
The low monkey said, “You can’t catch me.” Snap!
Two little monkeys swinging from a tree.
Along came a crocodile quiet as can be.
The middle monkey said, “You can’t catch me.” Snap!
One little monkeys swinging from a tree.
Along came a crocodile quiet as can be.
The high monkey said, “You can’t catch me.” Snap!
“Missed me, missed me - now you gotta kiss me!”

this crocheted little monkeys and the crocodile can be use to illustrate the “Three Little Monkeys” poem, the “Alligator Alarm” from Alphabet Action Songs, the “Three Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed”, the “Monkeys” from Movement Songs Children Love” and more!  just listed in  my shop

a small review of 2012

I hadn't goals for 2012. I opened my shop recently and I had no idea what will happen with it. Whithout an image I started to crochet those designs that were in my brain asked me to give them a sharp. I made a lot of amigurumies and many small and tiny puppets. I finished some of my imaginary friends. There are:

And now I am thinking about what my goals should be for 2013. But even I want to push myself I can only tell you: I will crochet all the year. This is I know for sure.

I wish you all a wonderful, happy and healtly new year.
